AUH Booklet ANSES 2025
As the year comes to an end, Argentina’s National Social Security Administration (ANSES) is once again urging families who receive the Asignación Universal por Hijo (AUH) to submit the annual AUH Booklet before December 31. This deadline is crucial for maintaining eligibility for the program and for unlocking the 20% of the benefit that is withheld every month and paid out once the required documentation is completed.
The AUH Booklet—also known as the Libreta AUH—serves as an official certification that children and adolescents have received appropriate medical check-ups, completed their vaccination schedule, and attended school during the year. ANSES reminded beneficiaries that failure to submit the booklet on time may result in delays in receiving payments or the loss of benefits for the upcoming year.
A Key Requirement for Continued Social Support
The AUH is one of the country’s most important social assistance programs, aimed at supporting families in vulnerable economic situations. Each month, ANSES withholds 20% of the total allowance until the family presents the AUH Booklet. This documentation verifies that the child’s health and educational needs are being met, ensuring that the program fulfills its objective of promoting well-being, school attendance, and proper development.
By submitting the booklet before the deadline, families unlock this accumulated amount and guarantee access to benefits such as the Annual School Allowance for the following year. ANSES emphasized that the presentation is mandatory and must be done every year, regardless of whether the family submitted a booklet in previous years.
The agency also clarified that only the official form generated through the Mi ANSES website or the ANSES mobile app is valid. Pre-printed or older versions of the form will not be accepted. For individuals without digital access, ANSES offices across the country continue to accept in-person submissions, and no appointment is required.
How to Complete the AUH Booklet Process
To simplify the process, ANSES has outlined a series of clear steps for families to follow. The entire system has been streamlined to reduce bureaucratic barriers and to make it easier for beneficiaries to upload required documentation from home.
1. Log in to Mi ANSES:
Families should enter the Mi ANSES portal using their CUIL number and Social Security password. The same process applies whether accessing through the website or the official app.
2. Review the information loaded in the system:
Within the section labeled “Children – AUH Booklet”, families can view the status of each child. The system will indicate which components are pending—whether related to health check-ups, vaccinations, or school attendance.
3. Generate the AUH Booklet form:
If any information is incomplete, users can generate the official booklet by selecting “Generate Booklet.” The platform allows families either to download the form directly or to receive it by email.
4. Complete the form and obtain the necessary signatures:
Once printed on a single sheet with good quality, the booklet must be taken to the child’s school and/or healthcare provider. School authorities verify attendance, while health professionals confirm medical controls and vaccinations.
5. Upload the completed booklet:
After the form is fully signed, families must take a clear photo of the document in JPG format, ensuring the file size is under 3 MB. The image should be well lit and taken on a flat surface.
The final step is to upload the completed form via Mi ANSES. Once processed, ANSES sends a confirmation email notifying that the submission has been successfully registered.
Updated AUH Values for December 2025
Alongside the reminder about the deadline, ANSES also released updated AUH amounts for December 2025. These values reflect a 2.34% increase, based on the Consumer Price Index from October.
Under the new rates:
For minors: The monthly AUH amount is $122,492, with $24,498.40 withheld until the booklet is submitted.
For children with disabilities: The benefit increases to $398,853, with a withheld amount of $79,770.60.
Families living in the differential zone, which includes provinces such as La Pampa, Chubut, Río Negro, Neuquén, Santa Cruz, Tierra del Fuego, and the district of Patagones, receive a higher rate due to elevated living costs in the region. Their updated values are:
Minor in differential zone: $159,263.20, with a withheld portion of $31,852.64.
Child with disability in differential zone: $506,653, with a withheld amount of $101,330.60.
These adjustments aim to ensure that the allowance retains its purchasing power amid changing economic conditions.
Ensuring Benefits for the Year Ahead
By submitting the AUH Booklet before the end-of-year deadline, beneficiaries safeguard not only the release of the retained sum but also their continued participation in the program. ANSES has encouraged families not to wait until the final days of December, especially as increased demand toward the end of the month can slow administrative processing.
The agency continues to expand online tools to improve accessibility and reduce wait times, particularly for those living in remote areas. With the December 31 deadline quickly approaching, ANSES’ message is clear: completing the AUH Booklet is essential for ensuring financial support and promoting the health and education of children across the country.
